Hockey World Cup 2023

 The 2023 Men's Hockey World Cup is scheduled to be the 14th edition of the Hockey World Cup. It will be held in India from January 13 to 29, 2023.

 

The tournament will be organized by the International Hockey Federation (FIH) and will feature 16 teams from around the world competing for the title. The teams will be divided into four pools of four teams each, with the top two teams from each pool advancing to the quarterfinals.

 

The host nation India is automatically qualified for the tournament, and the remaining teams will qualify through various continental championships and Olympic Qualification tournaments.

 

The previous edition of the tournament was held in 2018 in Bhubaneswar, India, where Belgium won the tournament by defeating the Netherlands.

 

The Hockey World Cup is considered one of the premier international tournaments in the sport of field hockey and is held every four years.
